Breakfast Creamed Vegetables
(Ready in about 12 hours | Servings 6)
Ingredients :
One purple onion, peeled and chopped
Four medium-sized carrots, sliced
Ten fingerling potatoes, peeled and diced
Two stalks celery, sliced
Three vegetable bouillon cubes
5 cups of water
1/3 cup butter
1 ½ cups canned evaporated milk
Directions :
1. Put all the above ingredients, except evaporated milk, into your slow cooker.
2. Cover it and cook it about 12 hours or overnight on low heat setting. Pour in the milk during the last hour of slow cooking.
3. You can add all-purpose flour to thicken if desired. Serve warm.
